About the Role
- Translate documents, reports, emails, and other business materials from Japanese to Indonesian and vice versa- Provide Japanese–Indonesian interpretation during meetings, business discussions, and internal communications- Assist Japanese expatriates and local employees in communicating effectively to ensure smooth daily operations- Support communication between Japanese management and Indonesian employees across departments- Translate technical documents, work instructions, production reports, and other materials related to automotive manufacturing- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of translations while maintaining the original meaning and context- Assist Japanese management with administrative tasks, documentation, and other related duties as required- Attend meetings and accompany Japanese management during factory visits or business activities when necessary- Coordinate with relevant departments to facilitate communication and resolve language-related issues- Maintain the confidentiality of company information and sensitive business documents- Prepare meeting minutes, reports, and other documentation in Japanese or Indonesian as needed- Other duties as assigned- High School degree- High Conversational Japanese (own N2 Certificate) & Conversational English proficiency- Minimum 1 year of experience as Japanese Interpreter from any Japanese manufacture and understand production process- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Requirements
- High School degree
- Japanese conversational proficiency at N2 level (N2 Certificate)
- Conversational English proficiency
- Minimum 1 year of experience as Japanese Interpreter at a Japanese manufacturer
- Understanding of production processes
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
