Terms of Service

1. The Coptera service

Coptera is a tool for assessing jobs and preparing applications, and for helping hiring teams screen candidates. Coptera is not a recruitment agency, does not guarantee you a job, and does not apply on your behalf.

2. Accounts

• Provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
• One account per person. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• HR accounts must represent a legitimate company or organisation and may need approval before they become active.

3. Your content

CVs, documents, and data you upload remain yours. You permit us to store and process them as needed to run the service. You confirm you have the right to that content. HR accounts may only process candidate data obtained lawfully.

4. AI output

Analyses, GO, CONDITIONAL, or NO-GO verdicts, and AI-generated documents are assistance, not guarantees. They can be wrong. Review them before you use or send them. You are responsible for what your applications contain.

5. Prohibited use

• Posting fake jobs, scamming, or charging applicants.
• Automated data collection (scraping) or overloading the system.
• Creating multiple accounts or gaming quotas and credits.
• Reverse engineering, copying, or reselling the service without permission.
• Uploading content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, or contains malware.

6. Credits, plans, and payments

• Prices and plan contents are listed on the Pricing page.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment providers.
• Credits are deducted when you use a paid feature. If a feature fails before producing a result, the credits are refunded automatically.
• Credit and plan validity follows what is stated at purchase. Purchases are non-refundable unless required by law.

7. Third-party jobs

Jobs on Coptera may come from public sources and other parties. We filter dubious sources but cannot guarantee every listing is accurate. Always check for yourself, and never pay to apply for a job.

8. Intellectual property

Coptera's brand, design, and software belong to us. You may use the documents generated for your own applications.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. You can stop using Coptera at any time and request account deletion at hello@copteracareer.com.

10. Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Coptera is not liable for indirect losses, including hiring decisions or application outcomes.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. By continuing to use Coptera after a change, you accept the updated terms.
